UPDATED: Industrial action 30 April – 1 May 2023

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) members are planning a new 48-hour strike with no derogations (exemptions from strike action) from 20:00 on 30 April until 23:59 on Monday 1 May 2023.

NSFT are committed to delivering safe, quality care to the people who need us.

It is really important that you continue to attend any appointments you have planned on 30 April and 1 May.

We will contact you directly if your appointment needs to be rescheduled due to strike action. This is likely to be a phone call or a letter. Any appointments that need to be rescheduled will be done so as a priority.

If we have not contacted you, please attend your appointment as planned.

What if I need urgent or emergency care?

If you feel you need support during this time, please check your care plan, and:

  • During office hours, contact your care coordinator or the duty number for the team that is supporting you. If you don't have their details, visit NSFT’s service finder at nsft.nhs.uk/our-services
  • Or call the urgent mental health helpline on 111 and select the mental health option.
