Our Board
Our Board of Directors handles the operation, performance and governance of the Trust. It sets the strategy and culture, values and standards and takes decisions.
The Board comprises:
- Executive Directors, who are employees of the Trust
- Non-Executive Directors (NEDs), who do not have a managerial role. The NEDs are in the majority and include the Trust’s Chair.
The NEDs constructively challenge the executive directors on the Trust’s strategy. Along with the executive directors, they are accountable for the Trust's performance.
