Chloe's race day success for mother and baby unit
Mum Chloe Gosling has raised £800 for the mother and baby unit which gave her a lifeline when she suffered with postnatal depression.
Chloe completed the Ely Tri Club Runfest 10k on Sunday 13 October in aid of Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) Kingfisher MBU.
She said: "Whilst it was definitely harder than I expected, running 10k to raise money for Kingfisher MBU, exactly three years to the day I was formally discharged, felt like the biggest full circle moment.
"I never thought three years ago I’d be where I am now, and I am so proud that I’ve been able to do something so positive for such an incredible place.
"If it wasn’t for Kingfisher, I don’t know what my life would look like now." She added that she is "so grateful to everyone who has donated and supported me."
She said that having her daughter, Aria-Rose, there watching her cross the finish line just felt incredible. "To hear her say she was proud of her mummy, made everything so worth it."
