Lee Ridgewell – Staff Governor

Term of office started 1 February 2025

I believe passionately in high-quality, safe, and compassionate person-centred care. I am proud to work for this Trust and want to help facilitate the ups as the Trust progresses in its continuous journey towards improvement. 

I have worked in health and social care for more than 24 years, joining the Trust in 2018 where I am now a Bed Manager. Before this, I was registered by the CQC to manage social care settings for several years and have experience in improving services that required improvement. As well as being an employee of the Trust, I have been a carer and service user myself from which I can bring lived experience. 

My belief is that without good staffing, services cannot be delivered effectively or sustainably at the standards service users deserve. Engaging with staff on the front line and their experience is as invaluable as patients being at the centre of their own care. Together we can improve!
