Gender Identity and autism
Many young people are uncertain about things like gender orientation/sexual orientation (am I attracted to girls or boys?) and gender identity (am I a boy or a girl?). This is also true for young autistic people.
If you want to find out more about this, these links will be helpful.
The Childline website link may be more useful for young people. The Dr Tony interview may also be useful for some young people, but also parents and professionals.
