Tallia Langston - Service User Governor, Norfolk
Term of office started 1 February 2022
I was born in Ipswich and grew up in Norfolk as a looked-after child.
I am a service user of community treatment and social care services. I am passionate about trauma-informed care and learning disabilities.
Before my mental illness, I was a primary school teacher. I have experience of teaching and volunteering with children around the world.
I volunteer for a charity supporting people with dementia and their carers.
I will bring the passion and enthusiasm for growth and development to the role of Governor that I brought to teaching and volunteering.
I believe in recovery, in achieving our dreams, and living our best lives.
I’m honoured to have been elected to represent the voice of lived experience from the Service Users of Norfolk.
