I want to begin my blog this week on a personal note. You will know that I announced in July that I would be staying with the Trust until Summer 2025.

The father of a teenage girl who took her own life is working with mental health services to improve how it includes carers and families in care planning.

Staff from NSFT have been recognised for their hard work as in regional learning disability awards run by NHS England. The Adult Learning Disability Community Team (Waveney) Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust was named runner-up in the Learning Disability Team of the Year and Ian Duncan, from that team, was runner-up in the Support Worker of the Year award.

Young people have created a mental health playlist after an online event to talk about how music helps wellbeing.

I want to begin with a massive thank you to everyone who was involved in our Listening into Action (LiA) event in Great Yarmouth on Thursday last week. I was so pleased to see so many amazing achievements from our teams. The event began with Trevor Stevens telling his story of the tragic loss of his beloved daughter Tobi.
