Our Future Leadership Structure - phase one appointments

We have made the first appointments as part of an ongoing programme to create a new future leadership structure at NSFT. This will see our current care groups replaced with five localities so that we can group our services in line with the ‘places’ used by many of our public sector and NHS partners. As a result, we will be working in the same, joined-up way as integrated care boards and local authorities. This means it will be easier to collaborate for the benefit of our service users and deliver consistent, high-quality care in the places where people live, work and access services.

Our first appointments have been made to locality leadership and management roles following a rigorous national recruitment process. They are:

East Suffolk Locality Group

  • Locality Director of Nursing and Quality: Belinda Danso-Langley
  • Locality Medical Director: Dr Sohail Abrar
  • Locality Director of Operations: Pete Henson

West Suffolk Locality Group

  • Locality Director of Nursing and Quality: Daisy Mudoni
  • Locality Medical Director: Dr Sarah Cornick
  • Locality Director of Operations: Elaine Deazley-Morgan

Great Yarmouth and Waveney Locality Group

  • Locality Director of Nursing and Quality: At final recruitment stages
  • Locality Medical Director: Dr Sarah Maxwell
  • Locality Director of Operations: Saru Mutema

Central Norfolk Locality Group

  • Locality Director of Nursing and Quality: Nicky Shaw
  • Locality Medical Director: Dr Dan Dalton
  • Locality Director of Operations: Michelle O’Donnell

West Norfolk and Locality Group

  • Locality Director of Nursing and Quality: Kate McCandlish
  • Locality Medical Director: Dr Zeyn Green-Thompson
  • Locality Director of Operations: At final recruitment stages

We will make further appointments to clinical leadership and management roles within the next few weeks. We hope to start introducing our new structure in December, after the final wave of appointments have been made to roles such as matrons and service managers.

We will keep you informed as this exciting programme of work continues to develop and look forward to working with you all more closely in the future for the benefits of the communities we serve.
