New Chief Finance Officer appointed at NSFT

 A finance professional with nearly 25 years’ experience in the public and private sector has been appointed as Chief Finance Officer with Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT).

 

Daryl Chapman has been appointed substantively after fulfilling the role on an interim basis since October 2017. Prior to that, he held Finance Director roles with a variety of private sector companies, and most recently spending 16 months working as Finance Lead for the Norfolk and Waveney Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP).

 

Mr Chapman has also previously worked for NSFT when he held the position of Deputy Director of Finance around seven years ago.

 

“I am very pleased to have been permanently appointed as NSFT’s Chief Finance Officer and hope that I can continue to have a positive impact on the Trust’s performance,” said Mr Chapman.

 

“Mental health effects everyone, which is why it is so important that people can access help and support as and when they need it. I am proud of the care which our dedicated staff offer and the huge difference they make to the lives of our service users and their carers every single day.

 

“I look forward to continuing to work closely with my NSFT colleagues and our health and care partners to make the best possible use of the resources we have available while responding to the ongoing financial challenges faced by the NHS.”
