Rhiannon Read – Public Governor, Suffolk

I’ve spent more than nine years building a career in health and social care. Currently, I work as a Registered Care Manager for a local domiciliary care agency in Sudbury. I am passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care to those who need it most. My experience spans a range of areas. These include personal and end-of-life care, and supporting people in residential, domiciliary and supported housing settings. 

As a carer, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges faced by people navigating mental health services. This personal experience has driven my desire to help shape the NSFT. I want to ensure that people with mental health conditions have access to the right support at the right time. 

I’m committed to combining my professional expertise and personal passion to improve lives and advocate for a more inclusive and supportive approach to mental health care.
